About this mode

Odd One Out shows four clubs: three share a hidden logic - same league, same honours, same country, same era - and one breaks it. The theme is never announced, so the challenge lies as much in working it out as in spotting the outlier. It is the closest thing here to a riddle.

Look first for what links three clubs, rather than what makes the fourth odd. Once you have the rule, the outlier is obvious - and it is rarely the least famous of the four.
